This is a rich and exotic fruit packed Zinfandel. A bouquet of ripe black currant and blackberry with smoky ripe cherry essences is followed by flavors of currant and creamy vanilla with hints of briary spice and cracked black pepper. This wine, in our opinion, is the best Paso Robles Zinfandel from Richard Saurets vineyard to date. We expect it to age gracefully for 8 - 10 years, but the opportunity to enjoy it in its youth shouldnt be missed.
