Regional Source: The grapes for this wine were sourced predominantly from our vineyards in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, the New South Wales Central Ranges and Southern New South Wales.
Vintage Conditions: Above average winter rainfall led to a promising vintage, which was characterised by mild conditions up until February, followed by hot weather conditions throughout March and April. The Fleurieu Peninsula faired well with some rainfall and a temperate climate ultimately producing wines of elegance and intensity.
Winemaker Comments: A medium to full bodied wine with generous ripe fruit flavours of blackberry, plum and cassis. Spice and cedar flavours develop with time in the glass. Soft tannins provide structure and definition to the traditional long and rich Rosemount Estate finish.
