Item No. 92981
ratings pedigree (past vintages):
red wine style:
Light & Fruity Smooth & Supple Earthy & Spicy Big & Bold
winemaker's notes:

Clear skies and the cool dry influence of La Nina resulted in a long growing season and a late harvest for this vintage. Perfectly ripe grapes yielded a beautifully colored, complex Cabernet.

Rich ruby in color with dark cherry, black current, toffee and mocha notes. Silky tannins and good structure lead to a long and complex finish accented with vanilla notes.

Pair with brie, gruyere, Italian dishes, steak, ribs or chocolate.

rating (9/15/2010):

I've just purchased my second case of this wine. I've poured it at big parties and small get-togethers and it's always a big hit with both novices and connoisseurs. The bottle is exquisitely done as well so it makes a nice bottle to bring as a gift. I have yet to find a better cab on wine.com for the price.
rating (9/29/2010):
Look, for $10 I am not going to complain much at all. You definitely need to decant this cab, it is a little bit overwhelming straight out of the bottle. I guess it's my fault for getting such a young cab but I'm not going to cellar a $10 bottle. All this being said, it is still a decent wine to go with your dinner. This might sound odd, but enjoy the wine with a similarly bold flavored food, otherwise the wine will be overpowering
rating (9/23/2010):
So, this Cab may not pack the bold punch of a Darioush or Jarvis but it has a lite complexity with subtle dark berry undertones. It is a great daily pour and is stored for the right amount of time could be on the A list! The bottle is very well crafted and presents nicely also. I sampled a couple bottles and proceeded to add a couple cases to my collection. Enjoy!
