The 2006 Rolling Shiraz is medium red with a deep hue. The aroma shows classic red berry and plum notes backed up with subtle vanilla and chocolate characters and a touch of spice. The mid palate has good weight and softness and the soft berry characters carry through to the finish. Deliberately light on tannins or oak, the wine shows lovely balance and bright fruit flavors.
Pair with tomato-based pasta sauces, roast lamb or venison.
I enjoyed drinking this wine and would definitely consider buying this wine again. One caveat, my wife didnt think much of this wine and she would rather not drink this one again, hence the four stars.
This wine will not be on my future orders.
90 rated for $10, was a great value and I would definitely buy again.
This wine was all right, but nothing to write home about. I was surprised, expected something better with the high ratings.
Medium-bodied red that's a bit harsh on the palate but has a nice, bold finish.
This wine costs $7.99. It tastes like it.
Pretty hollow taste. Leaves a bit of a after taste in the mouth.
