Rating: 2.5 Stars This wine was underwhelming given the ratings and professional reviews I've read previously. For someone who likes bigger WA or CA cabs, this wine never seemed to open up to what I'd expected. May have to wait a few years to add more stars. Quote of the evening: ...you said one of reviewers mentioned 'best served with flank steak', did they also include 'as a marinade'?. Overall: not a bad value, but better options are available at a similar price point (e.g. Chateau Ste. Michelle Cold Creek Cabernet). Upside: will make a very good housewarming gift.
