Rich aromas of lemon verbena, delicate orange blossoms and a tinge of minerality. Fresh, mouth-watering flavors of white peach and kumquats ensconced in creamy texture. Vibrant and expressive, with a beautiful balance of weight and zesty acidity, this elegant wine closes with a long, memorable finish.
The 2007 vintage was ideal for Sauvignon Blanc in Napa Valley. Because of the cold, dry winter, 2007 crop levels were slightly lower than usual, but thanks to the mild summer weather, Sauvignon Blanc quality was consistently excellent.

"Always one of Napa’s best Fumé (Sauvignon) Blancs, Mondavi’s basic bottling is so good, it tastes like it has some grapes from the famed Tokalon Vineyard. It’s a rich, pure wine, brimming with gooseberry, fig, green melon and white pepper flavors, accented with zesty acidity. Great food wine, and a bargain at this price. "
Excellent wine. Refreshing, citrus & peach fruit, decent complexity, just a touch of tannins, perfect with grilled lobster tails. Tasted much better than the price. I've bought more.
Very nice California Sav. Blanc.; light oak on the nose; bright, crisp fruit on the palate; gentle tartness on the finish. Perfect as a pre-dinner wine; also paired well with asian fusion food (in my case, avacado, wasabi and raw tuna). I usually prefer New Zealand Sav. Blanc for the more subdued fruit and enhanced mineral tones that those wines typically have (lacking here) - but this is a great expression of California-style Sav. Blanc, well worth the price.
A clean and crisp wine with bright citrus flavors and nose.
