Enticing layers of melon, pear and spice, with elusive layers of lemon grass, highlight our 1997 Fum' Blanc. The pure, focused flavors have complexity from barrel-fermentation and sur lie (on the yeast) aging. Refreshing and versatile, our Fum' Blanc can accompany both delicate and spicy foods. Grilled halibut with herbal butter, spicy chicken and avocado salad or potato, leek and sorrel soup are a few excellent pairings with Fum' Blanc. It is also a wonderful wine to serve with appetizers, especially cheeses. Our favorite is Fum' Blanc with fresh or aged goat cheese.
