Dark crimson red. Opulent aroma of briar fruits, savory spice, clay/mineral earth. Red and black mixed cherry fruits on entry, bright acidity, medium-full body, chalky tannins, tart plum finish.
A relatively new addition to Ridge's line of Zinfandels, this East Bench is emminently drinkable even at its early age. It compares very well to Ridge's more classic zins such as Geyserville and Lytton Springs.
