Noble and generous, glory of old Piedmont, a wine suitable for long aging, Barolo is the absolute master of the table. It conquers the palate with the conviction of strength, harmony and fullness and holds its sway at length.
The vineyard of Rocche dell'Annunziata is historically considered the most important of the "Marcenasco" sub zone. Barolo Marcenasco Rocche is characterized by supreme elegance and a fine bouquet of rose and licorice.
Color: garnet red.
Aroma: A delicate and persistent bouquet with traces of licorice and tobacco.
Palate: Full flavored, warm and moderately tannic. An elegant and well balanced wine.
"Good full red. Vivid, rather Burgundian aromas of cherry, redcurrant, flowers, marzipan, minerals and truffle. More vibrant and more precise in the mouth than the basic Marcenasco, with lovely subtle flavor intensity and grip. Finishes long and aromatic, with firm, ripe tannins. Very classy wine."

"Very subtle and refined with, lovely perfumes of milk chocolate, berry and spices. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a succulent finish. Refined. Ratti is improving at a quick rate. Best after 2007. 650 cases made. "
