A slightly faded ruby red. Fine, delicate and persistent bouquet with characteristic trace scents of strawberry and raspberry. Pleasantly bitter, velvety, at once elegant and full.
Red meats, grilled or on the spit, stewed dishes in white or brown sauces; local cheeses, such as: Robiola, Caprini, Mascarpone and Fontina.
"Medium red. Musky red fruits, flowers, spices, menthol and a whiff of earth on the perfumed nose. Very juicy, fresh nebbiolo with harmonious acidity; more open than the 2008 was at a similar stage. A seriously good, bright nebbiolo bottling that finishes with a touch of minerality, firm tannins and captivating aromatic lift. This can be enjoyed now or held. Ratti has made this wine since 1969, purchasing the grapes from the same families over the entire period."
