This Cabernet opens with aromas of cherry, red plum, rhubarb, prune, pepper and sweet vanilla. A red fruit based Cabernet with flavors of Bing cherry, raspberry, rhubarb and red plum along with touches of currant, cranberry, vanilla and cocoa on the finish. Beautifully balanced, rich full fruit flavors, integrated tannins and a smooth texture.
A versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of foods, from wild game, barbequed ribs, prime rib, garlic marinated roast pork tenderloin and spaghetti with meatballs to blue cheese burgers, pepperoni pizza, pulled pork sandwiches and hearty soups and stews.
Delicious upon release, but possesses enough tannin and structure to age 5-7 years beyond the vintage
