The 2008 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet in color with elegant aromas of cardamon, baking spice with slight hints of dried cherries and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is silky, smooth and supple. A full mouthfeel is complemented by flavors of black cherry, star anise, and rich dark chocolate. This wine is complex.
"So rich and ripe in fruit, you almost don’t notice that it's also a complicated and layered wine in structure. Blackberry marmalade, cassis and cocoa flavors are balanced despite hefty alcohol. An extraordinarily delicious wine, but it’s meant to be enjoyed in its youth."
