The Vintners Blend has a rich, somewhat soft, moderately complex, spicy, ripe, raspberry aroma. The flavors are those of black cherries, mint and vanilla with a sturdy, slightly astringent finish. The freshness and youth that we strive for in the Vintners Blend allows it to be released with slightly less barrel and bottle age. This forceful but friendly wine is a wonderful complement to pasta, poultry, red meats and other highly-flavored dishes.

My girlfriend and I visited the Ravenswood Winery in Sonoma a week ago, trying a large variety of reds. I have to say our favorite is their 2000 Dickerson Zinfandel which has a wonderful "minty" finish, a result of the eucalyptus trees growing next to the vines. Keep an eye out for it!

Great wine--exceptional value. Ravenswood is known for their zins and the Vinter's Blend is a steal at $11/bottle. Has been our "house wine" since 2000.

Excellent wine, had it in London then bought 3 bottles when I returned to the U.S. All I can say is get some...!!! You will miss out if you don't..
