Rancho Zabaco Heritage Vines Zinfandel 2001
Zinfandel
from Sonoma County, California
winemaker's notes:
The wine is immediately approachable, with jammy raspberry fruit and hints of pepper, soft and well-integrated tannins and a dry finish. An extremely versatile wine at home with dishes ranging from BBQ beef to grilled chicken or roast game.
With its balanced acidity, forward fruit and soft tannins, it pairs well with hard to match spicy, highly seasoned foods and sauces.

I had this wine in a resturant with cajun grilled prime rib. What a magnificent combination, totally complimenting each other! I've since bought a couple bottles for home. I've never been disappointed with any Rancho Zabaco Zinfandels. Great zins!

A great wine!!! Better than the highly acclaimed Dancing Bull in my opinion. I'm a $10-20 a bottle guy and this is by far the best Zin I've had.
