The 2006 Shiraz contains 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Sixty percent of the fruit was sourced from Barossa Valley and 40% from McLaren Vale. It was aged for 12 months in seasoned French and American oak. A glass-coating opaque purple, it features first-class aromas of spice box, cedar, mocha, lavender, and blueberry. thought it would taste off by the smell, but surprisingly delicious.
Excellent big wine, decanter for 1/2 hour and serve....I have spent a lot more for a lot less in the past. Great wine
