A blend of Chardonnay, Shiraz and Grenache from the Riverland, Barossa and McLaren Vale districts. Pale strawberry in color with a vibrant nose of sweet strawberries and raspberries with some toffee notes. Fresh berries, sweet candy and citrus on the palate with a long, luscious creamy finish.
Bitch Bubbly (or should it be Bubbly Bitch)? wine is not quite what I expected. I like the labels (and the wine) these guys are putting out, so I was expecting a more classic sparkling rose'...instead it's kind of like 'grandma's wine'. A tad sweet. Sparkling blush is what it is--but that's okay! no off-flavors, really pretty aromas of fresh strawberries and raspberries...palate is clean and refreshing. Just sweeter than I tend to like in my bubbles, personally. Still very fun--great wine for any kind of girly function--bridal shower et al.
I loved the bubbly and would buy it again for sure. My husband liked everything except the name.
The Bitch Bubbly looks eye-catching in the picture and the description captures your attention. However it is not bitchy, it tastes just like the cheapest champagne you could ever buy. I was disappointed with it and would not get it again. I was hoping for a blast of flavor and instead I found it to be flat in flavor, nothing special.
