Tawny golden orange colour with a honeyed nose of apricots with a trace of nuts, almonds, cold tea. Thick and viscous, with marmalade and apricot flavours, fresh acidity holds it together and it has a surprisingly dry finish. A lovely wine, it handles dark chocolate well.

This is the BEST wine to pair with chocolate!! There is absoulutely nothing better! Somehow it simultaneously boosts the flavor of the chocolate while "wiping" the palate so you also get a very clear flavor from the wine. AMAZING!

In the hands of true masters Orange Muscat grapes become a symphony of delicate flavors in a bottle.
As a former resident of Madera, home of the Quady winery, I have fallen in love with Essencia over a decade ago and made it a tradition. Each year, for my October birthday, my ultimate indulgence is a bottle of Essencia and a package of chocolate dipped biscotti for dipping.
Now that is living the good life. :-)

I love this wine!
I'm not a wine expert like many of you, but I found this dessert wine light, refreshing & very enjoyable. Best yet, no headache after drinking it!
I can't wait until those of us on the East Coast can get this fabulous wine!
