Vivid ruby red in color, Fiulot offers supple aromas of plum and cherry on the nose. Warm and well balanced in the mouth, Fiulot is round and generous, with rich spicy flavors of coffee and dried figs. The clean tannins and crisp acidity frame this wine’s velvety fruit and straightforward texture. In Piedmontese dialect, "fiulot" means young man. Prunotto has chosen this clever name for the most youthful wine in their portfolio. A great value wine, Fiulot is recommended with roasted or grilled red and white meat, pasta, risottos, and lamb chops.

I would buy this wine again
Navigating the wines of Italy has always been a challenge for me. Most are too minerally to enjoy. However, Barbera wines always taste great. This wine is another solid example of a good Barbera.
