winemaker's notes:
A rich, massive wine with smooth, supple tannins and dense, multi-layered flavors. Primus is comprised of Carmenere, widely planted in Bordeaux in the 1800s, but now found only in Chile. This ususual cousin of Merlot produces wines of deep, exotic flavors and great aging potential.

Had a glass of this wine with a seared tuna steak with a chipolita pepper sauce on baby spinach with red onions. The Chef recommended the wine as the best wine to have with tuna. He was right.
This is a wonderfully complex cabernet, with very dry but rich finish with a hint of pepper. It made a fantastic dish even better. I highly recommend this wine.
