A good wine for all seasons, this Pinot Gris reminds me of biting into a Granny Smith apple: it has a hint of sweetness with plenty of acidity to offset it without having an unpleasant bite. I believe the sweetness comes mostly from the slightly aromatic nose. I tasted hints of melon and apple. It ends crisply with a bit of a pleasant lingering finish. I will certainly buy this again. A nice wine for the price.
