Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Straw colored with light greenish accents. The bouquet is lively and aromatic combining mineral scents with classic aromas of green citrus fruit, lime, peach and white melon. Fresh, supple and round on the palate, with good balance between fruit flavors and crisp acidity.

Excellent as an aperitif, and a perfect match with raw seafood dishes, lightly fried appetizers, salads and all types of creative cuisine. A fun and versatile wine, ideal for parties and other festive gatherings.

Critical Acclaim

"This fresh, compact white slowly unwinds with layered flavors of melon, acacia, lemon supreme pie and a hint of passion fruit. The solid finish shows an aftertaste of fleur de sel. Grecanico, Chardonnay, Viognier and Fiano. Drink now. 50,000 cases made."
