In November 2000, Piper Heidsieck launched its "Baby Piper", with packaging and labelling designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier. The little red silhouette has masses of sex-appeal. In Italy, they call it "Piperino", and it comes with a straw bandolier so you can share it with your partner. The traditional cork has been replaced with a cap. People keep the empty bottles like some sort of fetish. Pop and Baby-Piper are in fact the second coming of a concept first launched seven years ago.
