We offer two ways to locate information:
With BRUT VINTAGE 1990 you discover intense aromas of orange blossom and liquorice, followed by fresh and lively hints of violet and sloeberry. On the palate, the flavours intensify, with hints of gingerbread, honey and marzipan. A fresh light wine, harmonious and in full bloom. While the name Piper-Heidsieck evokes spirit and vigour, the general impression of Brut Vintage 1990 remains that of a wine in full bloom, balanced and endowed with strong potential for maturation.
Blending: The beginning of 1990 was marked by devastating frost in April. The unusually warm and rainy weather in May and June caused early flowering. July and August were sunny, which contributed to the final quality of the grapes. The harvest took place from mid-September to October . The grapes were healthy and very ripe, confirming the wine growers most optimistic forecasts.
