Winemaker's Notes

This is a crisp yet rich wine, finely balanced with ripe, honeyed fruit and fresh acidity.

Critical Acclaim

"From the northern hillside above Chassagne where it bends toward St-Aubin, this has some of the aristrocratic power and tempered richness of a fine Chevalier. It makes an immediate impression, a lacey limestone scent that's pure Burgundian bliss, layered scents of crushed oyster shells and wildflower honey that last for mintues after each taste. The wine becomes only more glorious with a day of air, as it will with eight or more years in the cellar. "
95 Points

"A beautifully balanced white, with apple, peach, citrus and spice flavors allied to a vibrant structure. A mineral element graces the lingering finish. Drink now through 2020. 125 cases imported. "
