Peter Lehmann Layers White 2008

Layers is crafted to illustrate our belief that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Don't be fooled by it's easy drinking and approachable nature, each taste reveals another layer of subtle complexity. The Layers is a blend of 5 varieties picked from different vineyards throughout the Adelaide GI. This is the first release and it's fantastic!

Pinot Gris provides nuttiness and texture, the Muscat delivers aromatics, Gewürztraminer adds spice and mouthfeel, Chardonnay brings a touch of white peach and the Semillon provides a backbone around which all these components are wound. Layers of fruit complexity compliment the diverse textures and elements of modern fusion cuisine. Enjoy the Layers whilst fresh and young.
