Peter Lehmann Clancy's 2003
Red Wine
from Barossa Valley, Australia
winemaker's notes:
"Medium red. Redcurrant, dark cherry, spice cake, cinnamon and mint aromas on the distinctly cool, restrained nose. A silky midweight with crisp, focused red berry flavors accented by Asian spices and dried herbs. Quite poised, even elegant on the finish, where some well-judged oak spice slowly appears."

Shiraz 42%, Cabernet Sauvignon 41%, Merlot

Clancys has rapidly established itself as a favourite with lovers of red wine. It is a blend which is destinctly Australia, in fact as Australian as Banjo Pattersons poetic hero from which the wine derives its name.
A wine which is consistently good; a wine which says, ""Yes, do pour a second glass!""

Great flavor, spice -- fair price. Will buy again.
A Customer - CT
This is a fabulous wine. It's described as medium but it seems bolder than that to me - nice spice and black current. I ordered it in a restaurant and went out to the local wine store the next day and bought their remaining two bottles.
