Peter Lehmann Clancy's 2002
Red Wine
from Barossa Valley, Australia
winemaker's notes:
"A seductive style: polished in texture, lively with beautifully focused blackberry and currant flavors, shaded with touches of cedar and spice, lingering nicely. Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2008."
-Wine Spectator
Clancys has rapidly established itself as a favourite with lovers of red wine. It is a blend which is destinctly Australia, in fact as Australian as Banjo Pattersons poetic hero from which the wine derives its name.
A wine which is consistently good; a wine which says, ""Yes, do pour a second glass!""

This wine was just delicious! It was well balanced and had a very smooth finish. It was jammy yet dry. Excellent after a little decanting.
A Customer - Los Angeles
What a delightful surprise! Dark ruby color, aromas of berry and cedar. Mouth filling rich berry/black cherry fruit and spice. Lovely, moderately long finish.
