The 2008 Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling is the product of
a drought vintage, which is becoming the norm.
However, wonderful balance has been the hallmark of
this vineyard since our first vintage in 1979 and in 2008
we achieved low pH and high acid that winemakers

flavors are backed up by lovely intense lemon-lime with a slatey, mineral dry finish, typical of the Hanlin Hill

Known for its Rieslings, all in screw cap since the year 2000, the wines of Clare Valley are distinctive. The Riesling here is dry, dry, dry. The lime flavors and zesty acidity make the wine perfect for summer sipping or pacific rim food (aka, seafood). Notable Facts Since...Read More About Clare Valley

and steady ripening. Often assumed to be the producer of only sweet wines, Riesling
is a fascinating grape of many faces. From bone dry to lusciously sweet, this
variety is delicious at any sugar level with its intense aromas and steely acidity.
