A deep red color. This wine has wide range of aromas such as kirsch, lavender, pepper and other spices. On the palate there is a well-rounded combination of fruit and supple tannins, and good length.
"I actually liked it better than the 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Sinards, which is very good, but shows more tannin as well as a certain dryness in the finish. It offers lots of garrigue and kirsch intertwined with hints of bay leaf and unsmoked cigar tobacco in an elegant, medium to full-bodied, well-made style. It should drink well for 10+ years. "
