winemaker's notes:
The colour is bright crimson with some amber tints indicating oak maturation and some bottle age. The nose is quite distinctive and commanding. This wine has a principal flavour of berry-like Shiraz with a rich but soft oak tannin. The length of flavour shows a strong and rich berry Cabernet Sauvignon character. The blend of complex flavours is the feature of this full-bodied wine.

When picking this one, my main reasons were that by the wine.com rating, it has a fairly high oak flavor, and I was also interested in the blend and the region. I made a great choice and will order this one again. The is a very interesting and friendly wine. It has so many flavors that there is no need for me to try to mention them here. It came to me as being calm and exciting at the same time. Most certainly worth a try. I think almost anyone who appreciates cabernet would find this to be a facinating wine to visit.
