A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Shiraz.

The Condor symbolizes Penley Estate's determination, energy and quiet persistence towards winemaking excellence. The 2006 Condor Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz is a rich wine with soft, lingering blackberry, chocolate and pepper spice aromas. Gentle tannins - the wine opens up fairly quickly, tart fruit with slight black pepper on the finish. Nice medium/full bodied blend, great for the price. I had this with shaved Pecorino Romano and it held up well.
