Had a few bottles at a family gathering and everyone enjoyed it very much. A good all-around red at a reasonable price for this type of thing.
Like others I am scratching my head over the 91 rating. That said, this wine is very drinkable and pleasant, though I would not call it remarkable. With a medium body and low tannins, it is versatile for pairing. Berry flavors and pepper are present but not strong. I've enjoyed having this wine around as a daily sipping wine.
I don't understand the 91 rating on this wine. It'd say that it's definitely worth $10... but this is exactly the kind of wine that makes me less excited about the "90 point wines for under $20" lists.
