Winemaker's Notes

"Deep red hue. Earthy, roasted scents of plum, cedar and smoke. Big, mineral-laced flavors of blackberry and tar. Baker's chocolate lifts the close."
-The Wine News

Being a larger lot with various vineyards, experimentation plays a large role with this wine. Think of yourself sitting in your kitchen preparing a meal and standing in front of your spice rack. There are many choices, but there are those that will benefit from others and those that will have more of an impact on the meal. The same comes into play with putting the WESTSIDE blend together. A bit of this and a splash of that and you we come up with a fabulous wine. The wine has an elegant ruby color with a compilation of different flavors. These consist of cherries, vanilla, black pepper, spice, plums, blackberries, cedar notes, light toast, cinnamon, savory and a velvet texture.
