We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
Saturated crimson-violet color and a nose of ripe berry, smoke and black pepper set the stage for a wine that is big and bold in character but elegant, well-balanced and silky in texture. The palate opens with dense flavors of red currant and blackberry, complemented by notes of thyme, bacon fat and graphite. The finish is long and velvety, exhibiting fine, ripe tannins accented by balanced acidity and white pepper.
"Performing better out of bottle than it did last year from barrel. Tasting like a top-notch Hermitage, it exhibits notes of charcoal, crushed rocks, roasted meat, creme de cassis, camphor, and a hit of truffles. This packed and stacked, full-bodied Syrah possesses super-refiend tannins, vibrant acidity, and stunning weight as well as richness. It is a big, northern Rhone look-alike that should drink well for 10-15 years."Wine Advocate
