ratings pedigree (past vintages):
red wine style:
Light & Fruity Smooth & Supple Earthy & Spicy Big & Bold
winemaker's notes:

A red fruit bouquet of Bing cherry and raspberry is overlayed with mulling spice, and is immediately present upon swirling the glass. Aromas are accentuated with notes of cedar, vanilla bean and sandalwood. Flavors of cassis, spice and vanilla afford a silky texture and long, round mouth feel complimented by lively acidity and fine tannins.

alcohol by volume: 14.5%
critical acclaim:

"Bright, deep red. Bright aromas of raspberry, cherry, flowers and spices. Sweet, lush and flavorful; a red fruit bomb framed and enlivened by pepper and spice nuances, plus a whiff of flowers. At once dense and fruity. Should be a real crowd-pleaser. Very strong for an entry-level pinot."
