We are so excited to put this wine together we can barely stand it. There are 20 barrels from 5 different fermenters with 4 barrels coming from each fermenter. On fermenter is 1/3rd whole cluster, one is 10% whole cluster and 3 are completely destemmed but from 3 separate blocks in the vineyard. When the wine is blended there will be enormous complexity to go with saturating levels of pure Dundee Hill fruit. This is a 15 year old vineyard and the fruit really shows beautifully in this wine. 30% new wood for a touch of barrel notes but the wine totally sings over the top of the wood. Will be supple and huge in its youth and graceful and long as it ages.
