The oldest plot of vineyard we worked with in 2000. 20 year old vines from a 2 acre block. This wine contains wild berry and boysenberry aromatics with a touch of funky earth to bolster the complexity in the mid-palate. As dark as all our wines in 2000 this wine stands out for its sheer electrical vibrancy of color. Very plush with soft tannins integrating well with 44% new wood. Only 9 barrels of this wine were produced.
