Parducci Merlot 2008. Only the second bottle of wine in which I've had. Light aroma with not much linger. Nice smooth flavor with a mellow ending that tapers. Not sharp nor tingly as others. No after taste. An excellent wine by my novice account. In my novice opinion, this wine is above average. I will be ordering again.

I ordered 2006, which we have had many times before and really like, but they substituted 2008 upon shipment. 2006 is much more fruit-forward. This was still pretty good - perhaps the other reviewer got a bad bottle - ?? It is soft and subtle, fine for the price, but not great and not as good as 2006.
