This is a medium bodied wine with mouthfilling fruit, soft tannin structure, balanced acid, and a lingering finish. The aroma is lush with black currant, coconut, vanilla, blackberry jam, pepper, oak, and spice. The flavors are dominated by sweet black fruits such as cherry, blackberry, and plum followed by chocolate, vanilla, toasted oak and caramel.

Nice, medium-bodied wine, but needs 15-20 min. to open up. Strong nose, no lingering aftertaste. Went well with fish or steak, surprisingly. Kind of buttery for such a high blend of zin.
