The ruby color is brilliant and intense. The aroma displays ripe wild berries initially then evolves to hints of cedar, chocolate and mountain flowers, finishing with a forest-bramble humus characteristic of wines from the Monsanto area. On the palate, the ripe fruit is forward and very supple. The tannins are smooth, sweet and dense, the finish long and elegantly balanced.
