Le Volte is the result of a selection of the best Mediterranean terroirs in Tuscany and unites the typical Tuscan variety of Sangiovese together with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The Mediterranean expression of Sangiovese gives the wine opulence and generosity, while the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown in the region lend structure and complexity.
Produced following closely the Tenuta dell' Ornellaia philosophy, Le Volte is the result of the research and selection of the best Mediterranean terroirs in Tuscany. Elegant and enjoyable, the 2003 vintage is characterized by ripe berry fruit aromatics and flavors, a generous, round mouth feel and an attractive long finish.
