Its composition is decided at time of final blending of Ornellaia by choosing barriques which combine youthfulness and suppleness with structure, balance and intensity of the estate's terroir. Deep crimson red, with attractive red berry fruit aromas. Balanced, round generous palate, with a smooth lengthy finish. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the blend with its fine tannin structure, complemented by suppleness of Merlot.
