winemaker's notes:

The color is medium to dark cherry red. In the nose black fruits are followed by hints spice, vanilla and a touch herbs. It is medium bodied and well balanced with an elegant mouthfeel. This young Pinot Noir is complex and full of flavor with a nice long finish. It is tightly wound now and patient cellaring over the next two to six years will be rewarded.

"Medium-deep ruby color; bit tight now but dark cherry and spice aromas are there; tight, deep, rich black cherry flavors with spice and cinnamon notes; some tannin; good structure and balance; long finish. Deep and spicy, this Pinot is a bit closed right now but definitely reward at least an hour in the glass and will reward your patience in the cellar."

Enjoyed our first bottle of the '07 PN with grilled fresh halibut, asparagus and grilled corn on the cob. Well balanced with good acid notes and lingering finish. High alcohol was not apparent on even the first sip. Ordered a 1/2 case this AM.

The listing here by Wine.com is misleading - this isn't a Central Coast wine, it's a North Coast wine. This pinot leans towards the dark fruit side, has typical medium light body and excellent acid balance. The tannins are rather soft, making this one ready to drink. I was impressed with the quality at this price - excellent with roasted chicken.
