The 2002 vintage of this wine was ranked #3 on the Wine Spectator's Top 10 Wines of 2004
Fresh and intense fruity aromas (raspberry, red currant, cherry) well integrated to a flower touch (violets, lavender) with a gentle spice & eucalyptus touch. The aromatic experience continues, the mouthfeel is silky and vibrant. After a persistent and intense attack, an explosion of fruit, the end of mouth is long and complex, with spices, tobacco, raspberry and blackberry notes. Drink until 2025.

It reveals an already complex bouquet, rich, ripe fruit with underlying structure, and a more forward personality than is found in a great year such as 2004.
