The vintage expresses the typical qualities of the year and reveals the characteristics of a terroir. The only white grape-variety, the Chardonnay has different characteristics according to the region it is grown in. It gives off mineral aromas such as the chalk on which it thrives or gratifies us with more exotic aromas in more continental climates with notes of white flowers such as may blossom and acacia. It is not unusual to find subtle scents of citrus fruits, pear or lime in it.
