The 2006 Rock Cairn Cabernet Sauvignon's complexity has changed throughout its time in the barrel and continues to develop new flavors with age. This wine has a nice core of black cherry fruit, licorice and herb mixed with a sweet spice and cola that provides layers of flavor. The palate has great concentration and depth and the fruit flavors linger due to the fleshy tannins. The overall balance between fruit and earth in this wine will only integrate and evolve with a little time in the bottle.
