Winemaker's Notes

Deep plum, with purple tinged edges. A rich combination of ripe fruit with subtle sweet oak aromas. Attractive Shiraz aromas of raspberry and licorice with light peppery tones with sweet vanilla oak to complement the distinctive fruit aromas. A rich and generous palate structure with well integrated and subtle sweet oak. Ripe raspberry and plummy fruit tones with sweet vanillin oak flavors. Soft, fine tannins combine well with the regional peppery note add to the lingering finish.

Try this shiraz with a marbled beef fillet, beef goulash or rich tomato based pasta.

Critical Acclaim

"Intense and focused, this good value Coonawarra opens with notes of leather and polished wood overlaid with red-berry fruit. Tannins are smooth, but there’s plenty of lip-smacking acidity to keep the cherry cordial and plum fruit flavors lively. Drink now."
