Winemaker's Notes

Newton's Unfiltered Chardonnay has a devoted following of wine lovers who appreciate this rich, unfiltered style of wine. Their Chardonnay vineyard in Carneros was planted nearly 30 years ago and this region has since become known for producing superb cool-climate Chardonnay.

Critical Acclaim

"Light green-gold hue, shimmering in appearance for an unfiltered wine. Forward aromas of hay with light flinty and oaky fragrances. Smooth and creamy on the palate with a meld of buttery oak and pretty Fuji apple accents. Tart apple notes and hints of spice on the close. A very appealing, well-balanced wine."

The Napa wine industry really took off in the 1980's, when vineyard...
