This dark garnet-colored wine offers spicy aromas of clove and cinnamon layered with dark fruit flavors of black cherry and blackberry supported by juniper and sage. The dark fruit flavors carry through to the palate, combining with dark chocolate notes on the soft mid-palate. Dusty, fine-grained tannins make this wine an appealing choice now or over the next 5 years.

Winemaker Chris Millard suggests this wine will complement grilled meat dishes nicely and also prove versatile with a wide variety of foods from hearty pasta dishes to braised beef.

Blend: 53% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Franc, 1% Syrah

lord almighty!!! where have you been all my life!!! this was my first introduction in to bordeaux/claret blends. I can only describe this as other worldly. it was so tasty that it caused me to start looking at labels to fins similar blends and to try other wines. it is soooooooooo good, i cant explain how good it is, it just is. do yourself a favor and get a bottle. if you are some kinda wine snob and think this review is over the top, go pound sand snob.
