The Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc 2012 is intensely aromatic and complex on the nose displaying multi-layered characters of fresh basil, mint and coriander with subtle notes of mandarin peel. A mouth-watering yet smoothly integrated palate reveals notes of passion fruit, papaya and a strong textural component.
Try with Snapper ceviche with chilli and lime, avocado and tomato, with coriander salsa.
Great! Every bit a nice as the 2011-I believe it should rate a 90 point or better. Great vegetative aroma, nice citrus, limey punch and delicious acidity.
Fruity & Smooth
A serious Sauvignon Blanc, very textual. Displays classic SB aromas but with a rich food friendly palate. Definitely shines when consumed with food. I recently had it with Citrus Shrimp and the match was sublime. The citrus segments in the dish really brought out the vibrant citrus notes in this wine.
